RNG Vehicles in California

Using Clean Fuel for Clean Communities

California's air is cleaner because RNG clean-fuel vehicles are on our roads. California businesses and regional transit agencies have adopted Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) vehicles into their fleets because this cost-effective fuel means communities throughout the state can breathe easier.

RNG heavy-duty trucks have the lowest carbon footprint of any motorized vehicle on the road, and they are 90% cleaner than the EPA's NOx standard. RNG buses not only reduce dangerous emissions, but RNG buses are dependable, less expensive to operate and can stand up to the demands of busy city streets.

The thousands of clean-air trucks, buses and fleet vehicles on California's roads and highways are helping the state reach its 2030 clean-air goals.
